MANILA -- Gabriela Women's Partylist Representative Liza Largoza Maza today said she expected General Jovito Palparan to indulge his ego and run as a Congressman under a shadowy partylist, and join his fellows like the cheat Virgilio "Garcy" Garcillano, convicted pedophile Romeo Jalosjos, and other clowns to have a go in Congress.
"With these characters in Congress, Malacanang is strengthening its underworld forces in the House of Representatives ." Maza deadpans.
"To borrow from UN rapporteur Philip Alston's report, in the 'deeply schizophrenic' world of Mrs. Arroyo, democracy means killing of progressive partylist members, jailing their leaders, while endorsing murderers like Palparan, and rewarding the likes of Garci and Jalosjos for being ward leaders of Malacanang's underworld," Maza said.
Maza further added that GMA's statement that press freedom is alive in the country, that progressive partylist topping the the surveys shows democracy is at work, and Ebdane's statement that the coming elections may prove to be the cleanest ever, are prime examples of a "schizo" governance. #
